These terms govern the use of Cookie Cabin, where we bake and courier cookies across South Africa and bake for our shop.
By placing an order on our website, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age or have the consent of a parent or guardian.
Cookie Cabin holds a Certificate of Acceptability (COA), certifying that we are compliant with food safety regulations to sell food products to the public
Cookie information
Our cookies are freshly baked for our shop and for our online orders. Please note that slight variations in appearance and size may occur, due to the handmade, and handcrafted nature of our cookies.
Allergen information is provided on request, we do however use common allergens, including nuts, gluten, dairy, and eggs. We cannot guarantee that products are free from traces of these allergens.
Processing of online orders
​Please allow 2-3 business days for us to process your order.
We ship our online orders from Monday to Wednesday.
For express shipping: orders placed after 14:00 PM on Tuesday will be shipped the following Monday to prevent your baked goods from sitting in the courier warehouse over the weekend.

For economy shipping: orders placed after 14:00 PM on Monday will be shipped the following Monday to prevent your baked goods from sitting in the courier warehouse over the weekend.
Orders are subject to availability. In the event that we cannot fulfill your order, we will notify you as soon as possible.
Delivery Address for online orders
​​Please ensure the address is correct, as we will not be responsible for incorrect addresses or missed deliveries due to incorrect information.
Returns and Refunds
​Due to the perishable nature of our products, we do not offer refunds or returns .
If you receive a defective product, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery with photographic proof and your order details (including date of purchase). We will assess the situation and decide the appropriate action. Note that this will also apply to purchases at our shop.
For online orders: We do not offer refunds or exchanges for products that are damaged after leaving our premises, or for items delayed by the courier.
Payments
​All payments must be made in full at the time of ordering (done via EFT). We will provide you with our payments details upon receiving your online order or pre-order.
Limitation of Liability
We will not be liable for any indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to damages for loss of profits, arising from your use of our services or any issues relating to your order.
